Police: Boy wounded by gunfire in Algiers
NEW ORLEANS (AP) — Authorities say they’re investigating after a boy was wounded by gunfire in Algiers.
NOLA.com/The Times-Picayune reports (http://bit.ly/2ib1S6u ) that the boy suffered a gunshot wound to his arm in the Monday night shooting on Garden Oaks Drive.
New Orleans police spokeswoman Ambria Washington said she could confirm that the victim is a juvenile, but could not give his age.
Few other details were immediately released.
