New Orleans massage therapist accused of sexual battery

NEW ORLEANS (AP) — The operator of a New Orleans massage studio has been arrested following accusations of sexual battery by two female clients.

NOLA.com/The Times Picayune reports (http://bit.ly/2ioWRuI) that court records show 52-year-old Norman Nail was arrested Dec. 22 on two counts of sexual battery after complaints were made by two separate clients of his Advanced Healing massage studio.

Nail’s attorney, Brad Engberg, says his client is “factually and legally innocent of any wrongdoing.”

According to arrest documents, one woman said Nail touched her genitals during a massage in December 2015. A second woman made similar accusations of improper touching during a massage on Sept. 27, 2016. Both women completed sexual assault kits.

Nail is due back in court Jan. 19.
