A Taste of Blanchard

Sometimes I feel my favorite two times of the day are lunchtime and dinnertime, and if you’re like me, you’ll love an event that’s returning to Blanchard. It’s Taste of Blanchard, an annual community event with a chili, chicken, rib, and bbq cook-off!

Do we have your attention, now?

Taste of Blanchard also offers so much more, because arts and craft vendors, and local performing cheer/dance groups will also be at this 4th annual event.

The Taste of Blanchard Facebook page says this, “A Taste of Blanchard, sponsored by Donnie Bickham Middle School, is celebrating its fourth year. This community event showcases local arts, crafts, entertainment and cooks. The day begins at 9:00 a.m. with a chili and rib cook-off. Chili cooks can enter a CASI division or local contest. Local cooks may also enter a bean cook-off. Rib cooks can enter a national or local contest. There will be 50+ arts and crafts vendors. Local cheer and dance groups will also perform throughout the day.”

Overall the event sounds like a great way to spend a Saturday morning. It offers food, entertainment, crafts, vendors, and so much more.
